There’s something wonderful that happens at that moment when we hand everything over to the goddess. It’s a practice of surrender many times I’ve had to learn (or maybe unlearn! )

Remember the freedom that comes way back when we are wee little ones- we surrendered to someone dressing us, putting us to bed, basically watching down on us so that we could grow & live & thrive.

Then the split happens, we separate ( as we should ) and develop the ego identity and forge our way into finding out “Who am I ?” A constant game of peek-a-boo. Revealing and concealing our true Nature. We can spend a lifetime trying to be better - and yet often chase our tail only to fall back into the bigger lap of the goddess, reminding us who we are.

Saraswati came in when I began the study of nāda yoga ( sound & mantra yoga ). I felt Her just before calling me back to my voice - something I’ve always “struggled “ with. Going within, slowing down & listening was the most powerful practice and from that silence, something came through me in sound .

And I remembered Her all along.

Bowing to the goddess of learning & unlearning - Saraswati

Auṃ aiṁ sarasvatyai namaḥ

In divine praise of speech, learning, memory & creativity. From your tongue & from your hands, wisdom flows from the gods.

Ritual helps, art helps, music helps remind us who we are. The truth can never be said in words we must experience it for our Selves.
